Glendale Storm Problem
The crawl space of this home in Glendale was in good shape. It had a poly vapor barrier to keep the ground moisture at bay and good ventilation. However, the cascading ground water from the rainstorm was too much. The sheeting retained the water like a child's pool, so we used sump pumps and a truck-mounted extractor to remove the "pooling" water from the crawl space. After using several tube directed dehumidifiers, we ridded the airspace of excess moisture. We then cleaned out the debris which flowed in with the water during the flooding.
