Ladue Mold in a Home
The mold shown here in this undercabinet of a bathroom in Ladue was just a small amount of the proliferation of fungi throughout the area. The moisture was from several different leaky pipes that affected several rooms of this apartment. Our SERVPRO mold specialists, Applied Microbial Remediation Technicians, removed the contaminated porous drywall sheets and disposed of them according to local codes. We used air scrubbers and HEPA filtered vacuums systems, utilizing negative pressure technology, to pluck airborne mold spores, preventing further distribution of new mold growth. Antimicrobial products were sprayed into the open wall areas as a precaution, and the verification of total dryness was achieved before the new drywall was installed. No sense in allowing moisture to lead again to a fungal patch.
